It’s the turn of our office optimist, Mark Mezgec, to answer the quickfire questions so we can get to know him a little better.  Here’s what he said!


Who are you?

I’m Mark. I live in Brisbane with my partner and two Spoodles (who think they run the place).

What do you do?

As Customer Experience Manager I see myself as the customer advocate within Titan.  I’m here to make sure we provide a high level of support, allowing our customers to get the best business outcomes from our system.  I’ve got a team of sixteen split between Australia and Vietnam.

What do you love most about your profession?

When customers achieve their objectives, that gives me a real buzz. I also enjoy it when the team gets positive feedback; good news can make such a difference in people’s days.

What do you most like about working for Titan?

I love working with like-minded individuals.  Goal-orientated but values-led, I think that fits with my basic life philosophy.

What’s the best piece of advice you have for anyone in your profession?

If it doesn’t meet your expectations then it won’t meet your customer’s expectations either – don’t compromise your standards, always try to raise the bar. 

What is your superpower?

Intuition. I like to think I know people and try to make sure I’m speaking to them as individuals and treating them in a way they will appreciate.

What are we likely to find you doing outside work?

I guess it’s typical but I spend a lot of time socialising with friends and family plus I watch a lot of sports (any type) and I like to travel – America for the last few years, a fascinating country whichever part you visit.

Book – Can I fit “Sports Illustrated” under the book category? I’m a bit of a collector, so I’ll go for that.

Film – Too Big To Fail (It’s a fascinating look back at the Global Financial Crisis)

Podcast – I’m just getting into the “Diary of a CEO” podcasts and they’re awesome.  I love hearing from people who are passionate about their subject, no matter what that subject is.
