BMW Thailand: Network Roll-out Success

The implementation of Titan DMS software across Thailand’s BMW dealer network has now been completed. This marks the successful conclusion of an extensive three-year deployment project and signifies a major milestone for Titan in our international development. 

The rollout sees our dealer management system and associated services operating within the OEM and 34 dealer locations (plus the national PDI center), with over 1,000 daily users. 

The pilot project began in 2020 and despite challenges posed by the global pandemic and lockdowns, the final installation went live as planned. The majority of the rollout was completed early in 2023 with integration of the final two greenfield sites before year-end.

One key driver of the project for BMW Thailand was Titan’s ability to provide network insights at OEM level and deliver consistent data-led performance analytics on a dealership-by-dealership basis. Having a standard system also allows both OEM and dealerships to establish a unified best practice, ensuring a consistent brand experience throughout the entire BMW network.

The local Thailand team, led by John O’Halloran (General Manager, South East Asia), is delighted to have concluded such a large-scale project and they now move on to the support and development phase with BMW. John said “This has been such a rewarding project to work on. From the initial plan to the completion of the implementation phase, it felt like a real joint venture with BMW and the network. It’s great to see everyone up and running with our system supporting their businesses. We think this gives them a real competitive advantage in the market and that’s a great feeling.” 

Notable project achievements were Titan’s ability to meet BMW Thailand’s stringent security standards and the development and integration of value-added products, such as Service Quote Approval, Vehicle Status Notifications, and Online Service Booking.

Looking ahead, Titan will continue to build upon the partnership with BMW and the Dealer Network through additional integration projects such as the ‘MyBMW’ app, expected to be completed early in 2024.

We congratulate John and his team on the completion of such a significant project and look forward to seeing the results for the BMW network as they maximise the features of the Titan system in the coming years.
